Feedvisor Listings Collection Flow
Feedvisor's Inventory and Listings collection processes rely on Amazon's SP API Inventory and Listings reports to keep your dashboard up-to-date with the latest listings details and inventory levels as the API reports them.
You can find the explanation to "Why is my ASIN inactive?" in the following Help Center Article.
Another popular question is not Why a listing is inactive, but "Why do old Inactive listings populate my Configurations file?"
The logic of including Inactive listings in the Export of the Inventory & Listings configuration file is explained below.
Inactive Listings Removal policy
In order to keep the analytics dashboard updated, Feedvisor will perform periodic listings maintenance on inactive listings
Our logic for Inactive listings is based on the criteria below:
- The listing is Inactive
- The listing is Out Of Stock
- The currently Inactive listing was active and collected by us via Amazon reports at least three months ago
- The listing had No sales in the last 24 months
Examples of an inactive listing that will be removed:
A listing was collected by us on Jan 1st
On Jan 2nd the listing stopped getting reported via Amazon reports (became Inactive)
On April 2nd, this listing will be removed from the Inventory & Listings Configuration file as it meets the critical above.
