There are two primary repricing methods, one for competitive products, ‘buy box optimization’ and the other for listings with no competition - the Product Sphere.
A sub-configuration of the Buy Box repricer is the ‘Target velocity’.
In case your product has no competition and it is being repriced by the ‘buy box optimization’ method, the item’s price will gradually climb to the ceiling price and stay there.
Changing the repricing method to ‘Target Velocity’ will change the focus of the repricer to modify the item price based on whether the sales are achieving the sales velocity target and not focus purely on the Buy Box share.
